New Kid on the Block

No new pictures to put up today. If you click over to the gallery on the right side, you'll see that there's just about a hundred there already, so that should suffice for the moment. The Boston Crab (a card from her aunt solidified the moniker)is doing well. Despite her nickname, she's hardly made a peep all day, and when she does peep, the noises aren't always from her vocal cords. We're hoping for a good night's sleep tonight. K-money took a long walk to the bank and grocery store. Then later in the day, she took a walk around the block. She was stopping old ladies in their tracks just wanting a glimpse of the precious little angel. M and D are hedging our bets that all that exercise has tired her out. We'll see.

Bonus points for you if you can name the movie from which the "Quote of the Moment" is taken (bottom right side of page).

March Madness

The peanut had an exhausting second weekend here on planet earth. Two of her newest hobbies include watching college basketball (she's predicting UConn to win it all) and strolling through the neighborhood. Most of all she enjoys people taking care of her. She thinks that it's a real hoot to dirty a d right after dad has changed her. Above all, baby K loves to be held by family and friends.

I put some more photos of KJ on the web. I switched the set up of the link a little bit. The link now directs you to the complete gallery of baby pictures. Once at the gallery, you'll see various albums. Just click on the album(s) you'd like to see. Can you believe that the buggaboo was due to arrive this weekend and she's already in double digits of days old? Hard to image life without her.

New Batteries

Our camera batteries konked out on us (go figure), so we had to wait a few days to post some more pictures of baby K. Rest assured, new batteries are in place and the pictures will continue. Our batteries are feeling refreshed too. Almost five solid hours of sleep last night without interruption. Not bad. We took the peanut out for her first walk on Friday afternoon; that probably tired her out. She's such a happy munchkin. She's getting to be a chubba too. We can't believe how generous people have been. People keep giving the Boston crab (bright red at birth, less scarlet now) stuffed animals and new clothes. She'll be taking over my closet soon.

6 lb 6 oz

Over on the right, I posted eight more pictures of baby K. She's up to 6-6 now. We think her reaching that weight will be easier than reaching that height. We'll see. The peanut is doing well. She's awake for more of the day and less of the night. No jinx.

The Little Clam

For those of you who just can't get enough of Kerin, I just uploaded a second web album of her first weekend. She mostly relaxed and lounged around the house, only getting up for an occasional snack. Up to this point her favorite hobbies include eating, sleeping, and being held.

Instantaneous Shifts in Perspectives and Priorities

Starting on April 20, the day of the Boston Marathon, I intended to start a blog chronicling my adventures in running. After Kerin was born, I realized I could use this blog to share her with family and friends both near and far. On the right side of this blog, there is a link to a web photo album of Kerin. Click on the words "Kerin's here" and you should be directed to the site. Once on the site, click slideshow. Also on the right side of this page, is a smaller running slideshow of the little peanut.
